The Doctors Patel

Drs. Nick and Grace Patel are visiting from the U.S.! I had not met them prior to their arrival here to volunteer at GSH, but Nick did his retina fellowship at Iowa, where I did my ophthalmology residency. So, although our time didn't overlap at Iowa, we know many of the same people.

Grace just finished her pediatric ophthalmology fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis. We've been having a nice time doing clinics and operating together. I'll definitely miss them when the leave next week.
